Respect for Royal Protocol

Visitors are advised to observe all traditional customs when entering the Gbewaa Palace or any royal premises. Upon meeting the Yaa-Naa or any senior chief, a respectful bow or traditional greeting (such as Naa ti yira or Dasiba) is appropriate. Do not extend a handshake unless it is initiated by the chief.
